Detailed Route Description
From the north (from Frankfurt via A67, autobahn intersection Viernheim
until autobahn intersection Mannheim/ A 656) towards Mannheim Zentrum/Universität
- The fastest route when coming from the north: take autobahn A67 and
continue until you get to the autobahn intersection Mannheim. Switch
to autobahn A656 bound for “Mannheim Zentrum”, which changes
into bundesstraße 37 after a few hundred meters.
- Continue underneath the bridge with the “Mannheim” sign.
- Follow this route. Drive past the “Landesmuseum für Technik
und Arbeit” (on the right side).
- At the third traffic light next to the Planetarium switch to the
left lane heading towards
Ludwigshafen, Mannheim, Universität (the road leads into Schubertstraße
and then changes into Möhlstraße/Viehhofstraße/Reichskanzler-Müller-Straße)
- Follow B37. Pass “Autohaus Schmidt+Umhey” on your left
and the Shell filling station on your right.
- At the next traffic light: direction “Zentrum/Universität”.
- Continue straight on B37. Pass the post buildings on your left until
you get to the large intersection with traffic lights.
- Cross the intersection and continue straight for the University.
Now you have reached Bismarckstraße. There are various residential
and administrative buildings on both sides of the street.
- After approx. 300 m, change to the right lane at the traffic lights.
Follow signs to
- “Parkhaus N1-Stadthaus”. Here you can find many multi-storey
car parks.
- Now follow the main route in the direction of “Paradeplatz”,
then turn right into Kunststraße (past Stadthaus N1 – right
side) until you get to
- N3, 9 Kunststraße – bausback
